Have You Ever Wondered…….

Once I  read that in the early days animals who were to be offered for sacrifice may have  actually  clamored  to be the  ones chosen.  To be given as a sacrifice to their Creator, the Awesome King of heaven, may have been considered a great honor.  What a comforting  thought.  Very likely  they knew whatever  they encountered  on earth  that  they would  eventually reside  in paradise as was intended for them in the first  place.

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED ???

There are several scripture quotes supporting the “what goes around  comes  around” theory.

“You reap what you sow…”

“Give and it will be given to you…”

“Whatever  measure you use  it will be measured back to you…”

“By the standard  you judge others you will be judged . …”

Did you ever wonder if one of God’s  mighty archangels might be named “Karma” ??

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED ….??

It  occurred to me that before the fall of mankind ,  when things were  perfect in the Garden of Eden, perhaps animals were intended to be  able to converse  .  After all, when the serpent spoke to Eve,  she wasn’t  surprised  or astounded  it could speak.  Instead,  she listened and considered what it was saying.  Perhaps,  and hopefully so,  animals in eternity  will be able to express to us their  thoughts and feelings and fill us in on their histories.  How awesome  that  hug would be!

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED….??

There is so much division and violence and evil in this world.  People who used to act intelligent  and stable are now acting and speaking like lunatics .

It’s  not just politics, altbough that is the most  prominent  example ,  but it’s  everywhere .

My own thoughts on this……..I now  believe that  hate is contageous  and it spreads like  a  virus.  It’s  not even necessary  to have any contact with the carriers.  Simply reading comments or listening  to  the  news can infect.  It seems to numb the brain until all traces of  common  sense  completely  disappear .   How  sad!

I wonder how God  feels as  He watches the insanity .   He loves  each and every one of His creation and it must grieve Him intensely .

Do you ever wonder what will happen when He’s  had enough???

Gone, but never forgotten

Reilly

Tina R./Toledo, OH —  I had Reilly from the tiniest kitten who needed naps every few minutes  to my HUGE “kitty bunny” with the big thumper feet (I tell you, they literally looked like rabbit feet) that still needed naps every few minutes.

He meant so much to me and was so important to me. I took that for granted though. Reilly had health concerns that snuck up on me super fast. His life was cut way to short. He should have had so many more years to live.  He’s been gone now for about 7 years and I still think about him all the time. I have other fur babies to hold and love, but for those of you who know and love each and every one of your animals, you know that it is not a replacement. I still miss Reilly, I regret that I didn’t get him help when he needed it, and I have guilt that when he took his final breath I was not right by side.

I choose to believe though that he is in heaven right now with Jesus playing with every cat toy, bell, ring, and ball that he could possible hope for.  Jesus is playing with him, and caring for him until the day when I will be able to wrap my arms around him again and feel those huge feet kick up against me……like my bunny.

Your Pets In Heaven

The Bible  is somewhat  silent  on the subject of animal immortality  and this may be  because man, in his arrogance, might feel if there’s  an afterlife  for an animal there’s  nothing  he  needs to do to be saved himself.  I  struggled with this  since I  was a small child  and prayed through tears many times that God would  let me be with my beloved pets in eternity. The first  verse I  was inspired by was Romans  8:22-23. “…the whole creation  has been groaning . ..”  I   was impressed that meant not just humans but all created living beings. The more I  prayed  the more confidence  I felt that this  is true.  Since then, I feel God has led me  to  many more verses and publications that support  this hope .

All God’s Creatures

It’s always very upsetting to me when I see, hear or even think about the suffering that animals have to go through. They experience fear and pain either in the form of abuse or ravages of nature at it’s cruelest. For years I struggled with this trying to make sense of it and fostering doubts. But I trust my Lord and Savior and the Creator of all their prescious little lives and I believe when all things are made right…all those little mini souls will be safe in His care for all eternity. Every birth is a miracle and God would never waste a miracle. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME.

Quote

“People have to forgive. We don’t have to like them. We don’t have to be friends with them. We don’t have to send them hearts in text messages, but we have to forgive them. To overlook and to forget. Because if we don’t, we are tying rocks to our feet…too much for our wings to carry.”
